While Studio 3 started in Los Angeles with a fully in-office workforce, the Pandemic changed everything. Some key employees moved elsewhere, and remote work became the fad in corporate America.
Many marketing agencies adopted a Zoom culture, but that approach didn’t suit us. Studio 3 is built on personal touch and close collaboration between our teams. Tough financial choices were made to establish physical offices in both Texas and Florida, where many of our employees relocated. These turned out to be some of the best decisions we’ve made.
Having our people under one roof as much as possible, coordinating and working together for clients, is core to the Studio 3 identity. Our Tampa offices are a physical expression of these values.
Matt Bartilson, Angela Wearn, etc.
The roots of Studio 3 stretch back to a Los Angeles apartment where an SEO whiz kid and new father, Matt Bartilson, envisioned a marketing agency founded on integrity, innovation, and ingenuity. Those three “i’s” became the logo. Today Matt, his wife Britt, and their four children call Tampa home. Our Chief of Accounts, Angela, is based here too, along with dozens of our valued employees.
Yankees, Phillies, Blue Jays
Beyond world-class beaches, another reason people visit Central Florida is for Spring Training. The Studio 3 offices are just down the road and causeways from the February and March homes of the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, and Toronto Blue Jays. Fun fact: the Executive Producer of S3 Media collaborates frequently with Major League Baseball. Ever seen The Sandlot?
